There are 31 early learning coalitions in Florida. The vision of the coalitions is to integrate a seamless system of services and facilitate a quality school readiness program that links to all domains of child development. Their mission is to recognize and support all parents as their children's first instructors, and to provide children with access to quality early education and care, and the opportunity to enter school ready to learn.
Each coalition is responsible for coordination of VPK in the county or counties it serves, working with both public and private providers. There are staff available at each coalition to answer your questions, provide additional information, and guide you in the application process as you become a VPK provider.
